1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the MailHog email testing platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
MailHog provides email testing infrastructure including SMTP capture, spam analysis, and HTML compatibility checking for development and staging environments. The Service is not intended for production email delivery.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) send unsolicited bulk email; (b) transmit malicious content; (c) violate any applicable laws; (d) impersonate others; (e) interfere with the operation of the Service.
5. Data & Privacy
Emails sent to MailHog inboxes are stored for the duration specified by your plan's retention policy. We do not read, sell, or share the content of captured emails. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Plan Limits
Each tier has defined limits for inboxes, monthly emails, and retention periods. Exceeding limits may result in rejected messages until the next billing period or an upgrade.
7. Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Failure to pay may result in a downgrade to the Free tier.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. MailHog shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
